How it works

Use the plan

The opening view shows a dense group of rooms on the first floor. Pan across the floor and zoom to read the other labels. Every first-floor IfcSpace has a label, including circulation and support spaces. The left toolbar’s Topics panel restores the opening plan; Sections shows its floor cut. Select a component and click 1 element selected at the top left for Properties.

Developer integration

viewer.IfcAPI queries the storey, spaces, identifiers, names, units, placements and swept footprint profiles from the source IFC. Label positions and footprint areas are calculated from those returned profiles; no room schedule or label coordinates are embedded. Labels fit inside the footprint, and the BCF camera opens a readable view centred on its queried bounds. The clinic model supplies a populated space schedule.

The page opens the original source bytes with await viewer.IfcAPI, reads native model data, then closes the model and disposes WASM before displaying the source with viewer.add(). See the complete web-ifc API reference.
