How it works

Inspect levels

Toggle a storey to show or hide its components. Unassigned components have their own option. This example changes visibility; it does not cut the model. Select a component, then click 1 element selected at the top left to open Properties.

Developer integration

The component identifiers, names and storey memberships are queried through the native viewer.IfcAPI. The original architectural IFC4 file is hash-verified and imported unchanged. BCF views are written with bcf.save(), imported with viewer.add(), and applied with viewer.selectTopic(). Open Topics (speech bubble) on the left toolbar to inspect the generated viewpoint.

The spatial tree supplies level names and element membership. Components nested in spaces or assemblies inherit the enclosing storey.

The page opens the original source bytes with await viewer.IfcAPI, reads native model data, then closes the model and disposes WASM before displaying the source with viewer.add(). See the complete web-ifc API reference.
